In his address to the 42nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly, September 21, 1987, President Ronald Reagan said these seemingly prophetic words. “In our obsession with antagonisms of the moment, we often forget how much unites all the members of humanity. Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize this common bond. I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. And yet, I ask you, is not an alien force already among us?”
President Reagan may have been dramatically speculating about an actual other-worldly force threatening humanity, but he also spoke in a way to show how war has been the ongoing threat as he continued, “What could be more alien to the universal aspirations of our peoples than war and the threat of war?”
Since 1987, his plea for worldwide peace however has not come to fruition but instead has subsided, as the world encounters even more wars and rumors of wars. But what if there was some kind of alien presence that would cause human conflict to end and be replaced with worldwide unity of humanity? This post will attempt to reveal the reality that an alien force is indeed threatening humanity. It’s just not what you think it might be.
UFO Disclosure and the Alien Agenda
Without trying to get too deep into this topic, I would just like to point out the increase in UFO sightings especially during the last decade. Whether you believe in this phenomena or not really doesn’t matter because there’s no denying it has become mainstream and is even being discussed within world governments. Hollywood has had a huge impact on society’s view on this matter for sure. There have been many movies showcasing UFO’s, extraterrestrials, and alien encounters, and now the most recent one to be released some time in 2026 is Steven Spielberg’s “Disclosure Day.” Or at least that’s the impression I got after watching the trailer. It could be something else entirely, but it definitely sends alien encounter vibes, which Spielberg is famously known for. Depending on what a person’s beliefs and worldview is, media can and does have a profound impact on one’s psyche and view of current events. I personally believe predictive programming is real and is a method of deception being wielded upon the masses the “powers that be” use to advance their end-game agenda. The “powers that be” are those who are influenced or under literal control by the forces of darkness, being controlled by, the “prince of the power of the air,” Ephesians 2:2. The reason I mention the movie, “Disclosure Day,” is because it may possibly disclose the end-game agenda in a metaphorical way by using the UFO and alien agenda that has been brewing in the world’s psyche for a long time now.
A Breakdown of the End-Game Agenda
In order to see where I’m going with this, an interpretation of the events preceding the “Day of the Lord” found in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, is important to understand.
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
The apostle Paul begins this chapter by asking believers to consider the reality of Jesus’ return and what will happen before believers are gathered unto him at the rapture of the Church, or the Body of Christ.
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Paul is consoling believers by telling us to settle it in our minds and to not worry, whether it’s the spirit of the age or what the apostles have said or written about concerning Jesus’ return, so don’t get confused because it has not happened yet. Is at hand, is translated to mean, “had come.” Paul is showing how the Thessalonians were led to believe Jesus had already returned to gather his children to him but makes it clear that event hasn’t taken place yet.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
The apostle then emphasizes the warning Jesus gave to his disciples at the Mount of Olives in Matthew 24:4, Take heed that no man deceive you, and expounds on it by saying Jesus will not return until a “falling away” takes place first and the “son of perdition,” meaning, “son of destruction” or the antichrist is revealed. Two things I’d like to point out here. Recently, I’ve heard people interpret the “falling away” as being the rapture in order to justify the antichrist’s appearance after the rapture. They do this because the tribulation cannot begin until the antichrist is revealed, so if the antichrist is revealed before the rapture, then the pre-tribulation rapture view cannot be correct. Personally, I believe this cannot be an accurate interpretation because “falling away” is translated as “apostasy, a turning away, rebellion, abandonment,” clearly showing that there will be people who profess to be Christians, or at least considering faith in Christ, but will abandon the faith altogether. The second observation is, I’ve heard some people simply interpret this verse meaning the antichrist must be revealed before the rapture takes place which, in my opinion, is a misinterpretation. The wording of this verse may appear to coincide with this apostasy and the antichrist’s revealing, but as we will see, Paul clearly shows the proper contextual interpretation and how the antichrist is revealed after the apostasy and the rapture of the church.
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
This is a description of the son of perdition and how he will speak blasphemous words and attempt to usurp the true living God once he is revealed. I believe this is a duality that is to be understood physically and spiritually. Scriptures indicate there will be a third temple built in Jerusalem. According to this verse, the antichrist will enter into this temple and declare himself to be God and demand to be worshiped as such. This is deception and blasphemy in its highest degree and is the physical aspect. When considering the spiritual aspect, we must understand what the true temple of God is. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 3:16, Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” This is where Satan ultimately wants to be known as God. Not in a stone building, but living within man and we will see how he seeks to accomplish this as we continue.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
I think Paul is referring to his first letter to the Thessalonians and specifically chapter 5 where he gives a description of the Day of the Lord there as well. We must understand that his writings are meant for all believers from that time forward and to patiently wait for our blessed hope.
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
This is an introduction explaining what is “restraining” the revealing of the antichrist until his appointed time and is made clear in verses 7-10.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
The mystery or “hidden truth” of iniquity or “lawlessness” is already present in this world and has been from the beginning. Only he who now “restrains will do so” is the Holy Spirit. And since believers are indwelled with the Holy Spirit, we are in essence what is holding back the revealing of the son of perdition. We are told, “he,” the Holy Spirit or the body of believers who have the Holy Spirit within them, will be the restrainer until we are taken out of the way. This is also known as the age of grace.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Did you catch that? “And then that Wicked or “Lawless One” is revealed! So you see, the Holy Spirit living within believers is what’s restraining or holding back the revealing of the antichrist. Once the Church is raptured, then the antichrist is revealed and the time of Jacob’s trouble begins. Paul expresses foresight describing when Jesus consumes that Wicked or Lawless One with his breath, at which time he will literally destroy the antichrist with his spoken word and with the brightness of his coming which is when he comes to judge the earth at Armageddon.
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
The son of perdition’s presence, power, and deceptive ability will come from Satan himself.
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
His very presence and abilities will be manifested with all unrighteous deception “among” all who perish. How? Why? Because those who are left on earth at that time did not “receive” or accept not just the truth, but the “love” of the truth. Think about this. It’s one thing to know or accept truth and yet another thing altogether to know or accept the love of the truth. In other words, a person can know about Jesus and even say they believe in God. James 2:19 says, Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. Muslims believe he existed but only as a prophet. The same can be said of the Jewish people who believe Jesus was a teacher or rabbi, but have not had their eyes opened to see Jesus as their Redeemer. However, God’s covenant with his people is everlasting and when he deals with them again during the time of Jacob’s Trouble, their eyes will open and they will see their true messiah and be saved. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn, Zechariah 12:10. Even the secular world can know the truth that he existed because it’s been documented. But to receive the “love” of the truth is to know and believe that Jesus not only existed, but that he is God manifested in human form, lived a sinless life, died for the sins of mankind, rose again the third day, and is alive for evermore sitting at the right hand of God’s throne. That is what a believer’s love of the truth is. That is what must be believed in order to be saved.
(The last two verses are at the heart of what I’m getting at and will bring its purpose full circle.)
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Even though it’s accurate to understand God is “sending” this strong delusion or deception, as an act of righteous judgment, it’s more accurate and more important to understand this is as an act mankind has brought upon himself. In other words, God gave us a freewill to choose, so he’s basically saying, if this is your choice, then so be it. It’s similar to God hardening Pharaoh’s heart. Exodus 10:1 says, And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him: God didn’t actually harden Pharaoh’s heart, but Pharaoh hardened his own heart by rebelling against God. Romans 1:28 says, And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate (debased) mind, to do those things which are not convenient (fitting); 1:32, Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. The bottom line? Nonbelievers are without excuse.
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
To put it in a trendy term, “Mic drop…”
The Strong Delusion to Believe a Lie and the Connection to Disclosure Day
Verse 11 says, And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: The literal translation is, …that they should believe the lie. So that begs two questions. What is the strong delusion? And what is the lie?
I mentioned UFO disclosure and the alien agenda at the beginning because many modern-day theologians and those who study prophecy and eschatology speculate that these entities and phenomena, more than likely have something to do with a coming great deception upon the earth. Military whistleblowers testified under oath accounts of UFO’s and the appearance of three interstellar objects in our solar system recently has heightened awareness of enigmatic events taking place in our skies giving credibility to these speculations. The History channel has been airing an extremely popular television series called Ancient Aliens for years now. The premise of the show documents what the producers call “ancient astronauts” and that these beings are basically responsible for the creation of humanity. Many people around the world are beginning to believe this theory. Among various possibilities of what the “strong delusion” could be, this would have to be regarded as a very strong contender. By the way, in support of the belief in predictive programming, the production company behind this series is “Prometheus Entertainment.” Quoting from Wikipedia, “In Greek mythology, Prometheus is a Titan responsible for creating or aiding humanity in its earliest days. He defied the Olympian gods by taking fire from them and giving it to humanity in the form of technology, knowledge and, more generally, civilization.” Try to understand how complex and deep the rabbit holes go.
As previously mentioned, after watching the trailer for the movie “Disclosure Day,” I’m inclined to think it has alien encounter overtones but it’s difficult to say for sure. There were however a few scenes that stood out to me that foreshadows what I believe leads to understanding what the “lie” mentioned in verse 11 of 2 Thessalonians is.
In the trailer, there is a scene where a man is lying on a gurney in some sort of lab setting. In his right hand is a mysterious object which he is holding onto very tightly. On his forehead are two electrodes and he is seen almost convulsing as what appears to be some kind of power surging through his body. Another scene is a closeup of his eyes as the irises change dramatically. What does this have to do with “the lie?”
The lie mentioned in verse 11 isn’t just any ordinary lie, or even some kind of extraordinary lie as some might think, as being an alien takeover of the planet, declaring they are humanity’s true creators. No, I believe this is the ultimate deception that will cause all those who do not accept the love of the truth, to be condemned forever. This insidious deception isn’t anything new either.
The Last Lie Humanity Will Believe In is Actually the First Lie Ever Told
Most people are familiar with the story of the temptation in the garden of Eden, but there’s something very significant that can be easily overlooked. Genesis 3:1-5, 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods (God), knowing good and evil.
Take a closer look at verse 3. When answering the serpent, Eve was absolutely correct saying her and Adam were to not eat of tree. But did God say, “…neither shall ye touch it?” In chapter 2, verse 17, God told Adam he shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because in the day he should eat of it, …thou shalt surely die. God didn’t say they couldn’t touch it. So did Eve add to God’s word? In Deuteronomy 4:2, Moses, speaking by the word of God said, Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. If this is the case, then this is the first evidence of adding to the Word of God. Adam is not exempt either because we are told in 2:24, …and they shall be one flesh, so both are equally accountable. I might be completely wrong about this, but maybe the reason God didn’t say they couldn’t touch the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was because if they were permitted to touch it, it would allow moral knowledge, or inherently knowing right from wrong. But, they were denied eating of it because that allowed for knowledge they were not meant to have and would effectually take away their original innocent nature. In a sense, it’s like saying, “It’s too much for you to handle.” Thinking in this perspective, is there any denying what the ramifications are to this day? And how all of us are guilty of possessing forbidden knowledge in some form or another? Again, this is me thinking out loud so search these things for yourself and come to your own conclusions. Not what I’m suggesting or anyone else for that matter.
Back to verse 4 and the first lie ever told. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die. And there it is. The lie mankind has been believing in and striving to obtain since it was spoken. Immortality. The impossible prospect of living forever apart from God. But this is exactly what modern technology is trying to accomplish and is being spearheaded by artificial intelligence. That’s where the possible metaphor of “Disclosure Day” comes in, and while it can symbolize eating from the tree of knowledge, it also symbolizes the futile attempt to access and eat from the tree of life. The scene described earlier of the man undergoing some kind of transformation eerily foreshadows what receiving the mark of the beast may actually be like! Revelation 13:16, And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: There are many theories and speculations on how exactly people will accept the mark of the beast. Some may think it will be forced on people and maybe even in a hostile manner. Others think people will be reduced to accepting it in order to simply survive. Maybe people will take it just for convenience sake. Maybe it will be viewed as an act of government and/or religious loyalty. Some think people will not only be willing to receive the mark, but it will be considered the most exciting thing to ever happen to them. Maybe all of these theories are accurate. But what if it’s welcomed as the gateway to immortality?
Remember what I said earlier about how and where Satan ultimately wants to be known as God? The scriptures prophesy that Satan’s “son” so to speak, the antichrist, will enter into the temple of God showing himself to be God. But what of Satan himself? He’s the one who wants to be worshiped as God, to be known as God, and usurp God. His plan is to deceive and destroy as many people as possible by dwelling where God dwells, in the heart of man. The only way he can do that is by people giving him access to their hearts and reins by technology or more specifically, artificial intelligence. The predictive programming for this can be seen in almost everything presented to the world in relation to all things tech. You just have to be able to open your eyes to see the “fire” Prometheus gifted to humanity. Take this for what it’s worth but if you can wrap your mind around what’s being presented, think about how advanced artificial intelligence is right now and understand Satan is doing everything he can to counterfeit God. He does not possess the supernatural powers God does so he’s using what some people today consider to be almost supernatural, AI. I believe the mark of the beast will consist of some kind of transformational power through AI that will literally change a person’s DNA rendering them hybrids. Or as Daniel describes it, iron mixing with clay, Daniel 2:31-35. Technology is the iron and a human being is the clay. Transhumanism can be considered the “alien force already among us” that President Reagan could have been warning about but had no way of knowing at the time. Once that decision is made, there is no going back. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness, 2 Thessalonians 2:12.
The Reality of Disclosure Day
While there is no way of knowing what the movie “Disclosure Day” is really about until it’s released anyway, this post is just a way of using it as an allegory to events that are certain to take place sometime soon. If you think that’s a bold statement, well, it’s really not if you understand what the Word of God says. The only question is the timing of it because while we look around at the world and ask ourselves, “What in the world is going on?,” the answers can be found in the prophetic scriptures for those who are willing to know the truth. Prophecy is being fulfilled on a daily basis at this point.
What I’m suggesting is the actual disclosure day is the implementation of the mark of the beast that the powers that be, are about to present to the entire world and the movie can be considered a subliminal Trojan-horse. I hesitate including this because I’m completely aware how it will be viewed as a serious stretch of interpretation, but the date of release is projected to be June 12, 2026. Understand, I am in no way suggesting this is “the date,” but rather suggesting it’s meant for their symbology. I’ll let the numerologists decipher that one and please understand it’s just a curious observation. If you understand how the powers that be operate, then you know there’s always a nefarious reason for what they do, from mocking the Word of God, to subtly broadcasting their intentions. Take heed that no man deceive you, Matthew 24:4.
All Things Considered
I truly understand this type of content is heavy. For those who are in Christ Jesus, we all have certain callings upon our lives for his purposes and for his glory. This subject matter may not be ecstatic, but it should be considered edifying and necessary just the same because it all points to the glorious appearing of Jesus Christ. Therefore follows rejoicing. I have believed for many years that the LORD has led me down this path to understand these things and while I struggle accepting it, I have no choice but to share them in hopes that it will benefit others in some way while he alone receives the glory. So take heart all of you who have put your faith in our Redeemer, for we are all many parts working together as one in the Body of Christ.
If there may be some reading this who have not accepted Jesus as savior, I encourage you to just pause for a time and reflect upon not only what you’ve read here, but more importantly upon eternal things. Man cannot achieve eternal life by his own power or will. But God has made a way. Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man snatch them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one, John 10:27-30.
If you haven’t already, accept Jesus’ gift of eternal life. God bless you all.
